Oh, I am completely showing my geekiness now!

Unfortunately there’s not a theater near me that’s showing this Marvel marathon, but that’s no reason to be left out! I love action movies, and those based on comic books are one of my guilty pleasures. So in preparation for The Avengers let’s do our own Marvel marathon! Between now and May 4th, I’m going to watch Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk, Iron Man 2, Thor, and Captain America. That way I’ll be all set for The Avengers when it opens.

Are action movies right up your alley, or are you more the “Eat, Pray, Love” type?

Relay for Life

Even if the weather wasn’t warming up I’d be able to tell that it’s Springtime (in the Southland*). ‘Cause it’s time for Relay for Life!

My mom and I just started participating a few years ago. She walks the Survivor’s Lap with too many of her friends, we eat and hang out, play a few games, see other friends we haven’t seen since the previous Relay and wait for HOPE. I always cry during the Survivor’s Lap and again during the lighting ceremony. But then everyone starts walking and celebrating being together again.

I’ll tell you more about the team I’m a part of a little later – and show you our shirt design for this year!
